Hi
and welcome to Jim's K9 College website. Dog obedience and behavior
modification is something that I love to do and have had the pleasure
to do for over 25 years now. I have worked with many breeds from the
smallest Yorkie to the largest Mastiff. I have trained many
people as well.
My training methods are based on the
principal of reward and correction and are very humane. I
have
found that the best reward that you can give your dog is praise because
you always have it with you unlike treats.
Our goal is to help
dog owners get rid of the bad behaviors that frustrate them and make
having a dog less than the happy, rewarding experience that it should
be. Whether it's jumping on guests, pulling when
walking,
barking, running away, or aggressive behavior, I have seen it all and
more and have a program that can help.
I welcome you to
take a tour of my site and feel free to email or call with any
questions that you might have. I offer free consultations in
your
home where I can observe the dog's behavior first hand. My
lessons vary from a single 1 or 2 hour visit to a course of five weeks
for basic obedience. I do take Visa and Mastercard for your
